BRAND IDENTITY

1 EAST LANE

I was enlisted by Transwestern to strategize and design a cohesive visual identity system for an office redevelopment in downtown Bethesda, Maryland, called 1 East Lane. This development was unique for Transwestern, as 1 East Lane was set to be both a commercial office building and residential property with offices occupying the upper floors and apartments in the lower levels. The brand strategy needed to capture this dual narrative and appeal to two distinct audiences, thus Huxley the Heron and Satchmo the Starling were born.
